Academy — historical overview

Al-Caliph Football Center is opening its doors to coaching the next wave of football players. With years of experience in coaching primary school, we have developed our own brand of football syllabus. This syllabus continously evolve as we seek to overcome the challenges faced in today's context. What we have accomplished is a compact methodology to provide our trainees with ball mastery skills that develop their body coordination, inculcate basic footballing techniques, awareness and movement plus character and psychological development.

OUR COACH

Coach Ahmad Ali has coached at JurongVille Secondary, Pasir Ris Primary, Kranji Primary, Boon Lay Primary, Clementi Woods Secondary, Tanglin Secondary, Yuan Ching Secondary and Westwood Primary Schools. He has won several championships at JurongVille Secondary and Kranji Primary Schools. Known to be a strong disciplinarian, he is known by his former charges for his tough fitness routine for he believed in building the core muscles of our kids today. He instill believe and provide the tools for his trainees to feel confident with the ball. He drums into them that if they try, they will never lose, they will always win.

OUR YOUTH ACHIEVEMENTS

Our proud achievements are boys, and girls, who found their confidence in playing football. Secondly in character development as the game requires interaction with various type of people in their age group. These are their personal successes. We be very pleased when they exercise the skills and techniques taught especially during competitive games. It shows that what we have provided for them, gives them confidence with the ball. Others will go on to produce scintillating performances that will earn them Man of the Match awards and play with better players as they move on.

We see football as a path for some to go on to represent Singapore in National Football Academies, even if they are not in a good footballing school. Equip with school football competitive achievements, some are able to get into their secondary school of their choice through Direct School Admission (DSA).
