Al-Caliph 6 - 0 Veteran Aizad Khai (3) Fauzi Mahdi
by Wan Jr With good weather and field, Al-Caliph was prepared to face Veteran Fc, one of the most experience team who plays a simple game. And so, the game begins. For the first fifteen minutes, Al-Caliph looked a bit shaky. All of a sudden, in the middle of the field, the ball was bouncing in front of Aizad. He saw Khai was open up front at the same time he too saw the opponent keeper way off the line so, he chose to shoot instead of passing to Khai. The ball then loop over the keeper! What a goal! Everybody was shocked! And so, the floodgates have open for Al-Caliph! After the goal, Veteran starts to attack but, our defence stopped them from barging in to our penalty box. A few minutes later, Razif got the ball, through pass it down the left flank to Khai. He started to dribble, cuts in to the penalty box, faked the opponent and he shoot! It’s a goal! 2-0 up for Al-Caliph! What a great start by us! Khai too scored the third goal. Faizal assisted him. It was half-time. We were in joyous mood. We were hungry for more goals!
The second half begins. As usual, our defence stopped the opponent from attacking. Then Khai got his hat-trick! Fahmi, the captain assisted him. By then, everybody saw Wan Jr warming up at the side. Fifth goal, Fauzi scored. It’s similar to Aizad’s goal but, this time, it was nearer to the goal. Juande Ali shouted to Aizad to sub with Wan Jr. His much awaited debut has come. Everybody at the bench was cheering him on. Then the opponent charge down their left flank, cuts in and he shoots! The ball was getting into the goal but alas! Wan Jr quick reflexes parry the shot away from the goal! What a relief! He kept his team another clean sheet! After that, Mahdi was introduced to replace Hakeem. After five minutes Mahdi came on, he scored! Khai assisted him. That was the last goal for Al-Caliph! Last three minutes, Naz replace Khai. It was standing ovation for Khai. What good contribution by Khai. Kudos to Khai! And Naz did well enough to pressure the opponent, but eventually he didn’t score. Never mind there’s another time. Final whistle!
Al-Caliph has won! 6-0! What a beautiful game! If we continue playing like this, we will eventually be the CHAMPIONS! And just hope ACE loses points! GO WARRIORS! The Man Of The Match goes to Faisal. It was supposed to be Kadok but, a just silly mistake that he didn’t get the MoM.
