We started the match with 13 players,but nevertheless, we're up for the game,hunger for glory. We started the first half well,lots of crossing from both sides,but we were just unlucky, because L.S.FC kept on playing high defense. Well we, as the usual Al-Caliph never gave up in attacking. We got our first goal 10mins before half-time through Faizal from Kathir.
HALF-TIME.
L.S.FC started the second half they straight away tried a long shot,but Wan was alert and saved the ball. In the second half, L.S.FC much more lively in their attack, but Al-Caliph's back four were much more alert in defending. We got out second goal through Kathir, who was assisted by Dinesh where he latched on a cross from Faizal and lay-off for Kathir. This time, Al-Caliph were much more better in their close control and passing.
Third goal came from Omar who was assisted by Zamri. Minutes later, Omar added his second goal, Tyrus assisted him. L.S.FC could have scored more goals, but Al-Caliph's back four were tremendously super which consist of Nadeem, Aizad, Syah Jr and Syah Sr. Special gratitude to Nadeem who always did a perfect timely tackle to stop L.S.FC from attacking and not forgetting Wan, the goalkeeper who kept his nerves and saved quite a number of ball until the last few mins, he conceded an own goal, it was unlucky for him. Well the coach decided to give him M.O.M for his good performance.
Special thanks to the "crowd" who cheered us on especially Sofia whose cry made dad score. Present were Zamri's and Faizal's wife. And Zhaf's fiance.
Kudos to Al-Caliph for advancing to the next round. Fighting till the end!
