Its confirmed. We be up against Westminster this Sunday, 20.04.08 @ Regent Sec School, 9am.
They lost their first game 1-9 to Veteran and this was because they were short on players. They drew with Strips 1-1 in their second game, certainly something to be wary about. They lost 0-6 to Ace in their third game. Last Sunday, they met Musketeers and lost 1-4 and received a yellow and a red card. They may be last, still we have to respect the opponent and play like we play against any other team. Except for the game against Ace, they have scored against the rest including Musketeers and Veteran. We do not know who will be playing this Sunday.
This weekend will also be defining as current contenders in the league play one another; Swiss vs Ace and Veteran vs Blackjack.
Fair Play With Westminster receiving yellow and red cards in the last game, they drop off the top and we are first in the Fair Play table. This should remain till the end of the league. Winner of Fair Play gets about $150 if I remember correctly. Theres money to be won to go into the team's treasury.
I am proud that we, being the second placed team in the league, are tops in the Fair Play table whereas the other top teams are at the bottom.
