We won our third game against first timers Charlie FC. We had to shuffle a couple of positions as a number was missing given the long weekend.
We started well. In my opinion, we were in control. Mostly, the team played to instructions. The defence held the line they were told too and cleared the ball early, midfield was robust and tyrus ran like mad dog.
We were quick to the balls this time round and cut out the delay in attacking the ball. This made the difference.
However, we wasted a number of chances upfront. We have to be sharper and at least make the keeper work. Passing and decision making has to improve tough.
Overall, it was a convincing performance from keeper to striker. we just kept at it and was handsomely rewarded. Importantly it keep us in pace with the leader, Aces. Also couple of teams are at 4 points with a game in hand. So it is still very tight.
In a rare move, I am awarding the MOM to Khairil because his performance was much better and improved compare to last games. He also adhered to my instructions thus helping the team in their pursuit for the goal as the going gets tougher. His adherance also improved the decision making of the keeper.
